It is well-accepted in the pastoral care
profession (and, indeed, the wider health profession) that a carer should take time to nurture him or herself. It
is very difficult to care for someone effectively if you are unstable
emotionally yourself. To help you to engage in personal reflection and
emotional stability, we
have placed some hymns and songs on this site. You may like to take time
out for yourself to engage in praise, reflection on various aspects of
life and feel rejuvenated - replenished before you undertake more
caring activities. We hope you find the music uplifting and refreshing.
